Masai Mara is one of the world’s top safari destinations, known for its abundance of big cats – cheetahs, leopards, and lions – as well as the millions of wildebeest, Thomson’s gazelles, and zebra that migrate annually across the Mara River from Serengeti National Park in the months of July to October over the vast grasslands.

Day 1: Nairobi Masai – Mara

Pick up from your Nairobi hotel or Airport in the morning and drive to Masai Mara through the Great African Rift Valley escarpments via Narok Town, to arrive in Mara in time for lunch. Check in at your Lodge and have lunch. Then go for an afternoon game drive in the Reserve in search of the Lion, Cheetah, Elephant, Buffalo, and other members of the Big Five plus other animals. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge or similar.

Day 2: Masai Mara – Nairobi

Early morning breakfast. Then check out with a packed lunch for a game drive until around noon, when you will leave the Reserve and drive back to Nairobi. Picnic lunch en route. You will arrive in Nairobi in the evening around 5 to 6 p.m. Dropped off at your respective hotel or Airport.

The price includes:

  • Transport in a safari-designed vehicle with a photographic hatch and driven by an experienced driver/guide.
  • All park entrance fees – Full board accommodation whilst on safari.

Not included:

  • International air transportation to and from Nairobi
  • Expenses of a personal nature such as visas, travel/baggage insurance, laundry, beverages, tips, etc.
  • Drinks
  • Hotel accommodation in Nairobi before and after the safari
