Mountain Climbing
Mount Kenya
The second-highest peak in Africa, Mount Kenya, on the other hand, has an incredibly wide range of ecosystems and fauna. The mountain, which is located in Kenya, has a 5,199-meter peak and provides climbers with both a physical challenge and a cultural experience. Batian, Nelion, and Lenana, the three main summits, offer numerous climbing routes. Lenana is the preferred option because it is accessible to physically fit climbers and hikers while Batian and Nelion demand technical expertise. This trekking excursion takes you through luscious bamboo woods, moorlands, and alpine regions, all of which are rich in the Kikuyu and Meru cultures of the region.

Mount Rwenzori
The peak of Mount Rwenzori, the third-highest mountain in Africa, is located where Uganda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo meet. Mount Kilimanjaro, Mount Kenya, and the highest Rwenzoris are the only mountains in Africa to have permanent snow caps. Many people mistakenly associate the Ruwenzoris with the “Mountains of the Moon” that Ptolemy described. There’s a “Giant Groundsel” (Dendrosenecio) in front of the peak. This plant is unique to Central and East Africa’s higher-altitude mountain regions. They are reaching as high as 12 meters at Mount Rwenzori.
Elgibor Tours offers mountain climbing and hiking under this. Please book with us today.
